Hugh spent a good chunk of college in the basement of the language department watching old Soviet movies with his friends. Languages
Russian (Intermediate), French (Beginner), Python Hugh joined C4ADS in 2017 to support the counter-corruption and counter-wildlife trafficking portfolios in East and Southern Africa. In 2020, he helped start the organization’s Data and Technology Cell, where he served as the manager of C4ADS’ Seamless Horizons data lake platform. Today, Hugh serves as Deputy Director of Data Analysis and Technology.
Hugh received his undergraduate degree in International Studies with a minor in Russian Language and Area studies from American University.
