Will Cooke
Will Cooke is a Natural Resource Security Analyst at C4ADS working on the IUU Fishing portfolio. He holds a BA in Global Affairs and an Advanced Certificate in Mandarin Chinese from Yale University. As an undergraduate, he studied abroad in Beijing and volunteered with Havenly to support job training for refugee women. Ultimately, sponsored by the Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime, he led a capstone project on Chinese FDI and illicit flows in the Balkans. After graduating, Will worked as a Senior Research Analyst for Strategy Risks, where he examined human rights risks in transnational supply chains and built a database on corporate risk exposure. He also has internship experience with Empire Clean Cities in New York and is passionate about decarbonization, sustainable resource management, and GIS analysis. Will’s research interests sit at the intersection of business and human rights, infrastructure development, and international relations.
