C4ADS Transition of Executive Director
After 15 years of service, David Johnson has resigned from his position as Executive Director at The Center for Advanced Defense Studies (C4ADS).
Dear Friends of C4ADS,
It is with both sadness and gratitude that I announce that after 15 years of service, David Johnson has resigned from his position as Executive Director at The Center for Advanced Defense Studies (C4ADS).
During his time with the organization as Executive Director, Dave oversaw dramatic changes. Under his leadership, C4ADS has grown substantially, and our services have become ever more impactful against the perpetrators of illicit activity globally.
“Dave has made an enormous contribution to the achievements of C4ADS, and we are saddened by his departure”, said Board Chair April H. Foley.
C4ADS is grateful to David for the energy, vision, and heart that he dedicated to our organization and the global network we serve. We wish him the best in all his future plans and endeavors.
The Board is also delighted to announce that former Chief Operating Officer Varun Vira has been asked by the Board, and has agreed, to serve as CEO, effective immediately.
Varun has been instrumental in our change efforts over the years, and we have every confidence in his ability to implement a smooth transition and take C4ADS to new heights in service of our mission.
