Russian, Spanish Alex is a Russia Analyst with the Conflict Affected States Cell at C4ADS. He is a graduate of Ohio State University, where he studied International Relations and Spanish.
Prior to joining C4ADS, Alex worked as part of the US Fulbright Program in Moldova, as a consultant at PLUS Communications, and as an Aide in the Ohio House of Representatives. He previously interned at the Institute for the Study of War, and has published commentary for the Atlantic Council, Balkan Insight, and the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
In his free time, Alex enjoys cheering on his various sports teams, reading voraciously, trying new restaurants – or on an ideal day, sitting on a boat on a lake somewhere.
