Anastasia Kolobrodova

Anastasia Kolobrodova is Head of Cybersecurity at C4ADS. She brings over a decade of expertise at the intersection of technology, journalism, and global human rights.
Previously, Anastasia served as Global Journalist Safety Officer at Radio Free Asia, where she was a subject-matter expert on journalist safety and security in Asia, specializing in regional threats, risk assessment, digital security, and shutdown preparedness. She designed emergency response frameworks and standard operating procedures for high-risk operational environments including China, Vietnam, and Myanmar.
Before that, she was at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, where she managed Internet Freedom programs, including launching a corporate digital security awareness program. She also led crisis response for journalists, including Afghanistan refugee assistance and emergency coordination across Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine. A subject matter expert in Eastern Europe, the Balkans, and Central and Southwest Asia, she possesses native fluency in Russian.
Anastasia holds dual Master’s degrees in International Relations and Public Relations from Syracuse University, along with a Certificate of Advanced Study in Information Technology, Policy, and Management. She received her BA in Slavic Languages & Literatures from the University of Kansas.
