Andrew joined the State-Sponsored Threats Program as a research analyst in 2022 and works on North Korea- and Iran-related maritime issues.
Prior to joining C4ADS full-time, Andrew worked as a part-time research consultant examining the North Korea maritime sector and Chinese technology strategy, during which time he co-authored the report “Unmasked” detailing the novel concept of Vessel Identity Laundering.
Andrew was born and raised in California’s Silicon Valley and holds a BS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. He loves all things history and is absolutely awful at his namesake sport.
