Claire Coffey
As a member of the Natural Resources Program at C4ADS, Claire primarily works on the IUU fishing, deforestation, and illegal mining portfolios.
Before joining C4ADS, Claire worked as a Senior Analyst at Panjiva, a global trade intelligence company. There, she helped lead the government relations team and conducted open-source research to augment the evaluation and loading of semi-structured, multilingual transaction-level customs data. Earlier in her career, Claire worked as a researcher focused on understanding the convergence of defense spending and anti-immigration policies in the EU and ran the Initiative on Forced Migration and Human Trafficking (FMHT) program at the Pardee School of Global Studies.
Claire received her undergraduate degree in International Relations from Boston University with a concentration in European Security Studies. Claire speaks French and has lived and studied in France. Outside of work, Claire enjoys antiquing and pretending she will one day qualify for the Boston Marathon.
