Dave worked with C4ADS for over ten years before officially joining the company in 2021 as the Director of Strategic Alliances. In this position he aligns C4ADS’ strategic priorities with those of partners around the world in order to create optimal impact from our efforts.

Prior to joining C4ADS, Dave retired from the civil service as the Director of the Office of Irregular Warfare (IW) and Competition on the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He was responsible for assessing the Department of Defense’s ability to conduct IW and compete with adversaries below the level of direct armed conflict. He also conducted directed studies, advised on policy and strategy, and served as the Secretariat to the IW Executive Steering Committee. In these capacities he reported ultimately to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Dave is also a retired Army Special Forces operator having spent multiple operational tours in the Middle East, Southwest Asia, and Africa. He as a BS degree in Government and multiple military and civilian qualifications

He grew up in Virginia and now resides in Vermont where he enjoys working with his wife on their farm, fishing, hunting, foraging, and traveling.
