Eileen Parise
Dr. Eileen Parise is a Senior Vice President and Chief Growth Officer at Nathan Associates, Inc. Prior to joining Nathan Associates, she was President and CEO of The Hawkeye Group International, LLC, where she provided consulting services to clients working in the realm of health care, national security, and homeland security, seeking assistance in business development within the federal government, international entities, and U.S. Military. Preceding her consulting career, she joined Erickson Aviation where she led the Federal Sector and built out the newly created Government Services Operation in Washington, D.C. She brings experience in the field of infra-red technologies and screening and scanning technologies, having worked for FLIR Systems and Rapiscan Systems as their Vice President for Federal and Commercial Programs, North America, supporting components within the National Security and Homeland Security Communities, and Commercial Air Cargo Entities.
Before working in private industry, Dr. Parise spent 8 years working as a contractor to the Pentagon for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, J-3, Deputy Directorate for Information Operations (DDIO). In that capacity, she was one of the J-3 DDIO representatives to the National Security Council’s Interagency Policy Coordinating Committee (IAPCC’s) on Counterterrorism and Strategic Communications. As an original member of the Information Operations Task Force (IOTF), Dr. Parise was integral in providing information operations and strategic communications counsel to the regional and functional combatant commands, as well as the newly established Northern Command and Strategic Command while working with other agencies following 9/11.
Dr. Parise was a presidential appointee during the Clinton Administration and the Bush Administration. She served as the Deputy White House Liaison and Defense Fellow to the Department of Defense, and managed the Joint Civilian Orientation Conference, hosted by the Secretary of Defense. Before that, Dr. Parise was appointed as the White House Liaison to the Department of Commerce, and was later directed by then, Secretary Ron Brown, to establish and stand up the International Trade Advocacy Center within the International Trade Administration. This center was established to advocate on behalf of U.S. companies, to promote U.S. jobs, products, and services internationally, and it remains in existence today performing its original mission.
Throughout the Clinton Administration, Dr. Parise supported the White House Advance Office, traveling worldwide for President Clinton, Vice President Gore, First lady Hillary Rodham Clinton and Mrs. Gore. During her travels, she planned and executed numerous domestic and international events, to include the first ever G-8, NATO summits, the Gore-Chernomyrdin bilateral forums, political conventions, presidential debates, presidential inaugurations, and various other national and international security initiatives and events.
Eileen is a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.), in Information Systems and Communication, and has a master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Massachusetts.
