Kobe Spells

Kobe Spells is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a dual bachelor’s in Political Science and Arab Cultures. Before joining C4ADS, Kobe taught English and debate as a Fulbright fellow in Palestine, volunteered with media and human rights organizations while studying as a CASA I Arabic Fellow in Amman, Jordan, and conducted an independent research project as the Graduate Fellow at the Middle East Institute Palestine Program. Kobe is interested in the role of cutting-edge investigative techniques in disrupting state-sponsored violence.
Prior to joining C4ADS full-time as an Organized Crime and Corruption Analyst, Kobe worked as an Investigative Analyst Intern on the Conflict Affected States team, examining civilian harm and the transnational networks facilitating conflict finance and illicit weapons flows into Sudan.
