Lauren Spink
Lauren has worked as a researcher, analyst, and protection of civilians advocate across four continents and over 15 years. She served as the Senior Research Advisor for the Center for Civilians in Conflict, backstopping research across the organization and leading projects on emerging technologies and threats to civilians. Lauren also worked for four years in refugee resettlement and protection, interviewing civilians fleeing conflict. Additionally, she has held research positions with World Peace Foundation, Conflict Dynamics International, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and the Humanitarian Evidence Program at the Feinstein International Center. She holds an MA from the Fletcher School of Tufts University and a BA from American University.
