Italian (native), Spanish (intermediate), and a little Russian Maria Giuditta Borselli is our Capabilities & Integration Manager. Prior to joining C4ADS, Maria co-authored a book chapter on the recent expansion of the Italian mafia and one on civil war onset and the future of civil war studies.

She is currently working on her PhD in Justice, Law, and Criminology at American University. Her primary research interests include transnational organized crime, terrorism, and political violence.
In her free time, Maria loves getting lost in novels, discovering new restaurants, and dog sitting (in the hope of someday getting a dog of her own).
