Mishel Kondi
Mishel Kondi is a Senior Analyst at C4ADS, where she leads the Human Security team’s work on surveillance technology, semiconductor supply chains, and global supply chain ties to forced labor. Prior to joining C4ADS, she worked as a researcher and coordinator for the China programs at the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation (VOC), where she focused on China’s ethnic policy, forced labor issues in Xinjiang and poverty alleviation. She also previously interned at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) covering the Belt and Road Initiative and its digitization. She has been a key researcher, translator, and transcriber of the Xinjiang Papers and the Xinjiang Police Files. Mishel received her Bachelor’s in History from Middlebury College where she intensely studied both traditional and simplified Chinese (Mandarin).
