Mollie Zapata
Mollie Zapata is the Program Director for Human Security at C4ADS. In her role, Mollie manages and develops the projects, portfolios, and team focused on human rights and forced labor.
Mollie has spent her career working on human rights and atrocity prevention, including positions at the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, and The Dallaire Institute for Children, Peace and Security. She has over a decade of experience in program management, research, and analysis, focusing on applying new methods and advanced technologies to prevent and respond to large-scale human rights abuses, with fieldwork experience in Niger, Mali, Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, and Tunisia. She has worked on a range of issues, including extensive research and analysis on war crimes in Sudan, human rights abuses in China, genocide prevention in Mali, and risk for mass atrocities in Côte d’Ivoire.
Mollie holds an MA from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a BA in international affairs from Boston University.
