Reid McConnaughey is a graduate of Boston University’s BA/MA program in International Affairs, where he focused on security studies in the Asia-Pacific region. Reid wrote his Master’s thesis on the evolution of the US-China relationship from the Obama to Biden presidencies, and his research specialties include power transition, rising power behavior, and political risk analysis. Additionally, Reid has also previously conducted research on improving wildlife protection techniques in Namibia and the near-future of US energy independence.
