Zoë Watkins
As the Public Relations Manager, Zoë is responsible for leading media relations communications and external relations efforts for C4ADS, including coordinating media outreach and building relationships with major outlets and journalists.
Before coming to C4ADS, Zoë served as a Digital Communications and Content Manager at the Institute of Politics and Public Service at Georgetown University. She has worked on Capitol Hill, for U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto and in the Public Diplomacy section at the U.S. Embassy in Madrid through the Department of State, Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs.
In journalism school, Zoë covered immigration, education, election 2020 and environmental issues as a student journalist. Her work has been published in TEEN VOGUE, POLITICO, and The Investigative Reporting Workshop.
Zoë earned her bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Politics with a minor in Spanish from Lenoir-Rhyne University. Her master’s degree is in International Journalism and Public Affairs from American University.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling and studying (and failing to complete lessons) languages on Duolingo.
