Naomi joined C4ADS in January 2021 and works on illicit international trade and proliferation networks, technology and intellectual property transfer, and state threats.

Prior to joining C4ADS, Naomi was a due diligence analyst at TD International, providing detailed risk assessments on corporate networks in opaque jurisdictions. Prior to her due diligence roles, Naomi worked as an editor for the National Bureau of Asian Research concurrent with her senior editor roles at Johns Hopkins University–affiliated international relations journals “Asian Perspective” and the “China Studies Review.”

Naomi holds an MA in international economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), a certificate in Python programming from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a BA in international languages and cultures from Saint Mary’s College of Maryland.

Naomi is also an outdoors nerd, and loves to hike sections of the Appalachian Trail and explore new places by bike.
