Irina Bukharin is the Program Director for Human Security at C4ADS. In her role as Program Director for Human Security, Irina manages and develops the projects, portfolios, and team focused on human rights and forced labor.

Before working in her current role, Irina served as an analyst on the Counterproliferation and Organized Crime and Grand Corruption teams, where she worked on a range of issues, including South Asian proliferation, Syrian chemical weapons, forced labor in the fishing industry, and the crisis in Xinjiang.

Irina received her undergraduate degree in political science at Swarthmore College, and she is currently pursuing a masters degree in global environmental policy at American University.
